| Important things to know about buying any puppy, or dog, trained or untrained 1. Find a dog & breed with an energy level thats appropriate for your lifestyle (Even amongst the same breed and litter there are different energy levels.) 2. Any and Every interaction you have with your pet, they are learning something, do yourself a favor and implement daily exercise, structure, and affection from day-one. 3. Remember that very young pups DO NOT have muscle control of their bladder, accidents should be expected. (GET A CRATE) (Think about how small their bladder is, and how much water they are given, a chihuahua has a bladder about the size of a shot glass when full grown.) 4. The way that a person handles the leash, reassures the dog that he/she is being lead by a worthy leader and can be trusted in the alpha position. This is why it is so important to take the proper time to bond and establish a working relationship with the animal through the practice of exercise discipline and affection-given at the right time. |

By bringing an already Child Safe, Housebroken and Trained dog into your life, all of the hard work is already done. However, taking on the commitment of owning any breed, but especially a working breed, one must know the maintenance is never done. This means consistency, the dog must have their base needs met in order to lead a balanced family life: exercise, discipline, and affection-given at the right times are your key ingredients. By maintaining a level of obedience with your dog you are providing the stimulation they need, which also keeps you in the appropriate role as Alpha/Leader. Our dogs and pups are trained and new owners should be too. Take advantage of our complimentary 3 session owner/handler training program so that all involved are on the same page. For those out of state or country we have a complimentary DVD taking you through the commands and proper signaling, or arrangements can be made for on location training at the owners expense. In the city we hear from people who live in high rises or are short on time because they work a lot of hours, who are in a nightmare situation with their new puppy or rescue dog, whether it's going potty in the house, chewing, nipping, jumping or other challenges a puppy or dog can present.
